Who are you most looking forward to seeing at the 2017 Festival? Andrew Davies.  I have a few questions about House of Cards. Which book has inspired you the most? Impossible to pick just one.  But Stephen King’s On Writing impacted me greatly.  Both the first part about his pathway to publication, and the second part offering guidance on effective writing. What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?  Grab my phone and check my emails and texts.  Sad, but I do. What is your life’s motto? Never explain, never complain. Our theme for the 2017 Festival is Journeys. Can you tell us which journeys in your life have been most memorable?  Motherhood.  A constantly changing landscape.
